when it's springtime in michigan...

it's thirteen below...actually it's only -2f but the wind is out of the north and will cut you to ribbons...it's been brutally cold this winter but beautiful as the snow (not record setting but still plenty) didn't melt and now there is a quarter inch of ice on top and it makes the sunrises and sunsets just that much more picturesque...next week the highs will be in the 40's (f) and it will be gone...here is a pic from out the back door just now...have a great weekend...zing of the wild frontier...

Looks fine Zing.

I recall being out on the Cairngorms in the early 80's shooting blue hare with 22lr's in similar conditions. They were everywhere, we got a few but the shooting was NOT easy!

That looks stunning. I love looking at the tracks left in the snow by animals you didnt think were in your area.

again the melt will be here this week as the temps head into the 40's (f) for highs all week...here is a better pic of the ice covered snow...yesterday I rode maybe 45 miles through the rolling hills south of here and every field and valley was a picture...this is yesterday just outside the gym I go to...zp...
