one of my friends posted this on facebook tonight, you don`t know him so I can type, he suffered a cot death to his daughter many years ago, lost his job & marriage to grief, turned to booze
councillor held up a pint glass of water & asked the group "who thinks this glass of water is dangerous to me?"
"without falling or being hit by it, simply holding it-who thinks it`s dangerous to my health? well let me tell you, this glass of water, if I continue to hold it, could cause me irreparable damage,
IF I hold it long enough, at arms length would be worse, sore arm, shoulder cramps, back muscle problems, permanent damage, are all waiting for me- IF- I`d only hold it long enough!
I want none of these, obviously, so, to avoid them, she stopped talking, & simply put the glass down & let it go, waved her arm at it & walked out of the room!
like all the best things in life, simple, yet, awesome!
a glass of water!
