I met lemmy back stage at a blues gig once, the man did not suffer fools, he`d a seemingly insatiable thirst for Jack Daniels, in an hour I`d drank 3 or 4 pints of Guinness, he & a very young Duff Mckagan had polished off a bottle of JD each but what surprised me was how articulate & well mannered he still was AFTER drinking all that, poor Duff was hanging in there just, they were still at it when I bailed out, talk about knowing when your out of your depth, I`d have been catatonic on half that!

Yeah, he sure TOOK his three score and ten and made the most of it! Proper legend in his own time.
