OK, the man is embarrassing in the extreme, he is entitled to his views as are all of us but there seems to be an element of agreement with his views in the electorate.
Even his comments about no go areas in the UK, denied by politicians, appear to be backed up by a few police officers who probably know better than any fool in Westminster.
London mayor Boris doesn't like him which elevates Trump in my eyes because Boris is merely an amusing but irritating blue blooded idiot.
So is Trump completely unacceptable or do his words and ideas have an element of truth however unpleasant they may seem?

SOME people are now refusing travel on SOME planes, trains & automobiles with Muslims, this is because of suicide bombers,- the perception is they may kill themselves & take others with them, as many as possible!
would members want to travel with people they THINK might want to take their lives as they (Jihadists) sail off to their percieved Utopia! if the suicide bombers persist in the west, I foresee Muslims travel, being severely restricted-which will breed more hatred & more distrust, I foresee a vicious circle!

500.000 people have signed a petition for trump too be kept out of the uk
Someof his views are verging on ridicilous but hes entitled too them so this petition is trying too supress free speach.
This country allows free speech and that includes mad muslims ranting outside mosques.

When the choice is between Trump and any democrat, he will get my vote. Just can't chance more of the same type of "change" we had the last 2 elections.

I don't like him but I find myself agreeing with some of his views. Years ago I would have decried the man as a nutter but the rise in Islamic fundamentalism and the failure of the West to deal with it means ever more radical views will become acceptable to the ordinary people who just want to live in peace without being beheaded or blown up.
I do wonder how long before these nutters manage a huge attack on power supplies, water supplies or fuel installations?

He's is right in some of his views. Just as the extreme views on other matters are right from a variety of people. It is fashionable to denigrate fascist views but perfectly ok to accept radical socialist views without the same outcry. My Union is like this - We believe in free speech ah but not if it is right wing! Needless to say I left it.....
I doubt you could ban existing legal muslim citizens of the USA, nor the entry of legitimate muslim businessmen (selling oil for eg

). But you can subject muslims to extra checks and scrutiny. Any moderate or intelligent muslim would accept this otherwise what have they got to hide? At the current moment it is their religion creating the majority of terrorist activity in the world therefore they must accept more rigorous scrutiny. Even peaceful Buddhists in Sri Lanka are standing up to muslim radicalisation. The moderates need to step up to the mark more and do a lot more to combat the threat - it is not just a failure of the west but a failure of their own society. They need to integrate more. The recent discovery of unregistered schools is an example of this. Isolation and radicalisation - mind you orthodox jews are the same and when I was younger the catholics never mixed much in our town.
I don't trust any of the middle east religions and that includes Christianity!

Until people can recognise and address their own stupidity and futile behaviour it will never stop. Restraint, tolerance and forgiveness are pills people find difficult if not impossible to swallow.
