Very Interesting Pistol Steve. The engineering was fantastic.

Amazingly it was such a success that Sam Colt Closed his London factory because of the fall in sales due to the Adams.
I was lucky enough to handle one of these revolvers many years ago in John Atkinson firearms of Stanley Co Durham. Long since closed now of course but i can remember being impressed with how well built it was and of course the unusual feature was that it had a safety catch
