Unusual firearms - the Volcanics

If you have never come across these before the following makes interesting reading. I found out about them years ago when I was young as a neighbour had one in his collection like this in the you tube video. Very elegant guns

Very Interesting Pistol Steve. The engineering was fantastic.
Another very interesting one of course was the first true Double Action revolver,

Amazingly it was such a success that Sam Colt Closed his London factory because of the fall in sales due to the Adams.
I was lucky enough to handle one of these revolvers many years ago in John Atkinson firearms of Stanley Co Durham. Long since closed now of course but i can remember being impressed with how well built it was and of course the unusual feature was that it had a safety catch :)
