Do you know something Paul a few year ago I had been tasked to get rid of squirrels from a manor house . , I was sat in a hide and had been having a good day probably about 5 squirrel's dead on the floor, when this squirrel come along, as I followed him waiting for a clear head shot I was shocked to watch him munch on one of his dead mates

now I've never seen or heard about cannibal squirrels before obviously shocked and amazed at the same time I told all my mates what I had seen

they all looked at each other and laughed and took the pi s s outta me saying stuff like oh no zombie squirrels and the squeaking dead

Perfectly normal. Squirrels are omnivores and eating their own kind ... like rats do, is what they do.

I dropped a bird from a tree once and as soon as it hit the ground, a squirrel ran down and ate the birds feet off.
