a sad farewell

Sat Sep 05, 2015 10:24 pm

we lost ''geordie'' last thursday, a very sad day. he was a cracking little dog, and at 13 and a 1/2 he'd had a fair innings really.
he moved up to amble with Gill 18months ago, and was as happy as larry walking on warkworth beach every day, but sadly time caught up with him :(
his ears didnt always stick up like in the pic, its just that it was very windy and he was waiting for his stick to be chucked in the sea
i go up there roughly every 6 weeks, so it'll certainly be a bit strange next time i go up.

Its a horrible feeling that you get when you come back home and they dont greet you  :| .
These dogs are soul mates.

Condolences from my family and me, Steve. I will admit that I cry for animal family members when they go ... perhaps more than for human members ... because their love is unconditional. Still, he looks like he had a good life and a good innings and there will be endless sticks thrown for him where he is gone, mate. :(

Sorry to hear about your loss mate, we've had and loved 5 wonderful dogs over the last 40 years and losing each and every one of them was heart breaking, our thoughts are with you.
