weather

Looks like the marvelous Summer is set to continue over the back end of the week :? Its gonna be a wet one especially in the deep Sarf
I dont know about other areas but even by British weather standards its been pretty damned poor so far oop Norf.

Those of you (me included) that enjoy a good thunder storm will likely get some decent entertainment especially on the Sarf coast. :D

I love thunder and lightening in the night.
Told the daughter when she was little, its just the clouds bumping into each other and laughing, some folks crap themselves.
There is no such thing as Bad weather, its just weather ;)

Yeah I see the temperatures over the continent! :o It looks like the jet stream is well South over The British Isles. Needs to be up over the Highlands really. :?

How good are your weather forecasters? Ours are pretty bad with a 50/50 record. No other job would let you slide with a record like that. One channel said the wind was from the SE and the next said the SW. Three different weathermen said that the rain on last Wednesday would be around 5:00 p.m. and well to the east of us and only about a 30% chance in total. It was flooding by 10:00 a.m. over all of our area and didn't let up until late. I think we are about 22" above normal, this year already, in central Florida.

Italy was up in the early 40s last week. Istanbul looks like early 30s when I get there next weekend. We live in a cold country .... well most of the time :)

Our local forecast on the BBC weather app is pretty accurate I must say. I tend to ignore the long term forecasts and just look a couple of days up front.
