I have to say that my "brown hens" are what I call proper chickens, they lay eggs, cluck and I can pick them up without bother. Those velociraptor looking things look like they would have your arm off just for fun! :mrgreen:

Au contraire ... they are quite easy birds to handle as they are used to being held. It is only other velociraptor's arms they like ripping off :lol:

Well I wouldn't want one in my garden, if I want an ugly, scrawny bird I can invite MIL round. :twisted:

Had a goodun up here at tea time (better late than never eh :roll: ) Localised flooding and a house up the road struck by lightening! It went a lot cooler just after the storm (no wonder with the hail stones it spat out), but its muggy again now and I can hear thunder popping away in the distance.

I love a good storm as long as it dont flood the garage :shock: :lol:
