Red Kites

They may be beautiful birds but is anyone else concerned at the way they're spreading across the country? From virtually extinct they are rapidly advancing in all directions. I've just seen my first one in Somerset about 2 miles from Glastonbury. Competition for the buzzards maybe?

we`ve had a red kite knocking about for about 2 years (it was the first I`ve ever seen)
I can sit in the house and know when its about...the seagulls and magpies go mad  and chase it off the best they can
lovely looking bird though :)
