Wind!

Sat Jun 06, 2015 7:48 pm

Not the anal variety, just this perpetual westerly wind that is hampering my attempts to go shooting at sensible ranges. Thoroughly fed up with it.

Same last week here, 30ft high tree in full leaf on the green in front of my house had the main 3 stems snapped off by the wind at about 15 ft, local council decided it was unsafe and chopped it down.

And tonight we have nigh on perfect conditions. Barely a breath of wind. Going to be very chilly later at 1C. The wind is looking good for the rest of the week too. 8MPH the max up here. 8-)
