Like Andy K2 I was a forces child, born in W Germany, a total of 5 years over there, 3 years at Cosford, 3 years at Wyton, 3 years in Cyprus, a few 6 month stints around the world following dad rather than end up in boarding school. Settled in the family home in Somerset in 1975 and stayed within 20 miles ever since.
This is the best county in England, slightly behind the times and untroubled by holiday makers, lower numbers of immigrants and some great countryside and lovely genuine people.
