English fans don't help themselves but how much of their behaviour was down to Russian provocation? French police admit that the Russian fans instigated most of the problems yet weren't arrested. English fans were and got custodial sentences. Maybe that is the French way of sending a message about Brexit? Or maybe just being as the French have always been towards us?

I heard the Russians threw bits of Citroen and Renault cars to start the fight, but as the bits had already fallen off due to build quality, no offence was deemed to have been committed.

Good job Nissan/Datsun isn't French, it could have been raining Datsun cogs. :mrgreen:
