i'd forgotten that frank (freeatlast) was a member
he was more of a reader than poster, and used to spend time on here most nights a few years ago, when the forum was busy. back then the hunting section was active with lads that i term ''proper shooters'', and frank read the print off articles by raj, timmytree, granville, ratshooter, eboswan, geordie, etc. known him about 30 yrs, and been his neighbour here on the canal for 5 years. he was a good bloke, and because of his garden centre and horse feed business connections, he got me a few perms
he used to sit with me when i was zero/plinking on the range i set up down here, took an interest, bought an air rifle, learnt the basics, and enjoyed using it keeping the rabbit population down for the horse brigade
