Canny funny that ...
HeHe that was funny to watch Mick. No good to fit if you caught out and about but then again he would struggle with the rope chains on the BMW. However there was a solution and would involve carrying a hydraulic jack round with you or using the car jack! Did you work it out? Jack the wheel up (ensuring other wheels are chocked) that would make the wheel in question hang down on its suspension thus giving easier access to the tyre. Simples!

Re: SNOW.
I swap wifes car A4 , onto set of (cheap winter wheels) put the decent alloys in garage, once they start laying all the crap on the roads up here in Fife, winter wheels currently fitted with Goodyear Ultra 235/45/v17's which are excellent in the snow/ice,this will be the 2nd winter with these boots on.
I have in the past fitted Falken winter tyres to her Audi, slightly cheaper, but the road noise from these was condsiderably higher than from the Goodyears,
having the winter tyres on has helped her out on many an occasion, so a deffo worthwhile investment.
But as everyone says, not many people go to any effort at all, they would rather slide about like tut tut
trying to get to work as most people you meet on the roads up here haven't the first clue about how to drive in the snow/ice & are never prepared, even though they know its coming....Clowns !!
