Accuracy verses grass
Evening all, shooting the prosport yesterday in a wind using AA fields in 4.51, iam not shooting very well atm with either the ps or the 400,set up a target at 20 yards and its pellet on pellet, hmm good start, picked of a few dandy lion stalks at around 20 yards, yeah all seems good, set up at 25 yards and what the hell 3" groups, managed to get a group under a 5p piece, out at 30 yards and lost it again, moved the target out of the tall grass and bingo, only thing i can think is shooting through the long grass deflects the pellet and ruins accuracy, one to think about when shooting rabbits in long grass

Someone once told me a .17 hmr round would disintergate if it hit grass due to the high velocity, only repeating his words mind

Well iam happy then a .177 8.4 grn pellet shot through grass would detract from its original path
