I've got a replacement underlever bumper for my TX200 HC. What's the secret to getting the stem into the little hole in the underlever? It doesn't want to simply push in!

I vaguely recall someone fitting one of these and having the stem intruding into the pellets path. Perhaps a check of the length before pushing in would help.
Try a bit of washing up liquid to make it slippy or perhaps a bit of loctite which would also stick it in when dry.

They screw in mate, but it is tricky and it may need a trim as stated to stop intrusion into the pellet path.

I`d to google this cos I`ve never owned a TX & never noticed when a former member let me have a try, but, if this is about a little rubber button under the barrel then no way on gods earth should it`s locating hole go deep enough to intrude on the inner barrel, I`m not saying it doesn`t, but it dam well shouldn`t, if it does, I`d be astonished, that AA couldn`t control the depth of a drilled hole into such a crucial component of their rifle!
tell me I`ve got this wrong-please? I don`t mind posting the red faced smiley sat just over there, if I `m wrong?

Get your "Red faced smiley" out.
The hole is drilled into the shroud the rifles are fitted with.
Wouldn't have posted it if it wasn't correct.

HMM Ray, I`ll admit to half a smiley then, that aint the barrel proper, but I`m astonished AA have a component that could interfere with the pellets path that could have easily (surely?) been avoided?

my bad then, still think it shouldn`t intrude to something as crucial as a rifle pellets path, a fundamental element & a selling point of some manufacturers (BSA cold forged, Steyr world champion, Lothar/walther-et al) to have something as innocuous as a bump stop potentially `clip` a pellet is a poor poor show IMO.

				Your right about that.
Perhaps a shorter rubber bung would help

Mind you they've probably got a couple of million in stock
