SKAN

Has anybody got a skan chrono, if so what do you think of it, are they worth the money. I want to chrono my air rifles in the garage and the lighting affects the combro I have got.

Dont own one but have used our Mason's Skan a couple of times. It is dependable but the build quality is appalling for the money they charge. Makes short work of taking readings and putting it on a graph. :)

The SKAN crono is very accurate and dependable, the police seem to use this crono along with most gun shops.

It has a lot of great features and it calibrates it's self. this leads to accurate readings and this is what your paying for.

It has I believe a long warranty period on a new unit. as said most police and gun shops use this crono as of its fine accurate readings.

Some people make a jig/platform out of wood so the barrel of you rifle is always the correct distance away from the unit to achieve more accurate readings every time.

I own a Skan It is good crono, the accuracy of the readings are superb. yes, build Quality could be a little better. but no worse than any other crono on market and this has good warranty and you can trust it.
