Hi, I hope you don't mind me asking you a question. My TDR is a bit difficult to cock. It needs a really firm pull to engage the trigger sear and it sounds like the spring is binding slightly. Is it just a case of stripping, cleaning and adjusting?

if so , yes strip it down and check that the breech lines up with the hammer housing and valve housing . they may be slightly out of line .

Ooh, just had a look and there is no way this thing has ever been taken apart. AA have moved the action bolts from the top and put them in the bottom of the firing valve and included a nice anti tamper blanking plug into the bargain. Looks like I will have to live with it for now.

Well, it's my fault, I'm used to using a Rapid and I had my hold on the cocking arm all wrong. Now it's 'fixed' I can give it to my mate to use while I compete with the Rapid.
Thanks for the offers of help.
