I bought a new one a couple of months ago and stripped it within 5 mins of getting it home. I was glad I did, the finish of the internal metal on metal contact points, spring ends etc was shocking. It would have taken years of use for it to have smoothed itself out and the factory grease was everywhere inc in the trigger block which made it sluggish. I'd check it over to see if there are any obvious defects requiring it to be returned, if not strip, clean, polish and re lube it ( when re lubing - less= more). I lubed mine with moly on all the contact points and a light coat of millers red rubber grease on the spring. If you know what you're doing, deffo do the trigger Sears, the difference is night and day. Other TX users can believe how sweet my trigger is now it's had some TLC, the release is like breaking thin ice
