Close range pellet accuracy

I’m new to the forum so hi. I’ve got an s200 mk3 with a Hawke scope in it. I’m using it mainly for pest control. I’ve noticed, though, that if I zero at 20 or 25 yards, at closer ranges after I compensate for holdover the gun is shooting slightly to the left. Any advice? Is it something to do with how the scope is mounted?
Thanks in advance for thoughts.

by what you have described it appears to be what is described as cross over. if your pellet goes to the left at close range, try to confirm by pushing the range beyond your zero. if the pellet goes to the right you have crossover. have you considered your trigger technique? follow through on the scope? one thing to try if your technique is good, is turn the mounts around. also the 200 has a barrel band if i remember correctly. is the barrel twisted by the band not allowing the barrel to rest in its natural position.
