Hi all
I'm quickly running out of air in my bottle and looking at buying a Compressor as filling the bottle is impossible at the moment. Do any of you own one and what make? I see uttings have a few and don't have a clue which one. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Stay safe

Keith

I have the Nomad II compressor bought at beginning of lockdown last year from Opticswarehouse. Works really well for filling the rifles, simple to use and maintain, not too noisy when working either. Looking at the log spread sheet I keep looks like I am normally filling my rifles from about 100 bar and for ease fill the regulated ones to about 200 bar, I find it takes about 3 mins for a FWB 800 cylinder and a just over 4 mins for a FTP900

Thanks for the feedback, I’ve ordered the Nomad from Uttings but they have no oil. Do you use Nomad oil or just an 100% silicone oil off the shelf?

Cheers

First oil I used was the one referenced on a lot of youtube videos from Crossman https://www.crosman.com/product/crosman-pellgun-oil/ downside is that tube is really small although saying that it lasted me the year and around 45 fills and the required maintenance/purge cycles. When I went looking a few weeks ago I asked and Opticswarehouse recommended to use this https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/break ... t-2oz-60ml (sorry I bought the last tube they had)

I use a yong heng compressor I got off Amazon and it's spot on. Fills my 3 liter 300 bar no problem it is quite loud but it's free air so I'm not stingy with my shot s now

I'd deffinalty recommend it and if it goes bang after 12months I'd buy another one
Think I paid £120 and think you can get them cheaper now.

Cheers
