Yep mine dos it too the design is crap as Brian said but I like having the gun "complete" so to speak so I went and bought all of the bits needed to fix it. Julian (bgaltd) can help you if you want to have it there.

Thanks for the replies, yes it's going back on Tuesday-
I can still use it, but I like things to be as they're meant to be!

Stick a Rowan one on, much better and no poxy safety catch to fall out. It's a silly place to put one anyway

I agree but it's about time they got this problem corrected. It's been happening for years and unless they suffer a financial penalty by having to keep putting it right they will not do anything about it.

At times I just cannot believe how our airgun industry treats it's customers.

I hear you Ray ;)
Would be nice to think that AA might give the Rowan boys the job. It wouldn't happen due to costs obviously :(

I have to buck the trend and say I rather like the safety on the S410. Not keen on the general shape of the trigger blade but thats a minor problem.
I took the safety out of my trigger when I did the rebuild just after buying the rifle and to me it looks a perfectly servicable unit. I can see why they fall appart but if looked after I dont see them giving a problem.
If you want my idea of safety catch hell its anything that sets itself when you cock the rifle, be it air or rimfire.
