all set up/ready to go

Mon Jul 20, 2020 4:55 pm

i measured 30 yards in the garden, put a target up zero'd the scope in,not to bad grouping from a new rifle,10 shot's within a 1/4'' group, using a harris bipod,i have medium sports match scope mount's on my s410F carbine, the gap between the bottom of the scope and the barrel is 8.5 mm,i'm using a hawke eclipse 6-24x50 side focus scope,i think i may need higher mount's, which do you use on your's,i normally like the scope as low as possible,

Why would you need higher mounts? I would have thought your cheek position and line-of-sight would be fine with medium mounts and that barrel clearance with a 50mm scope.
