i applied heat to the standard loading bolt, using a hair drier,i unscrewed the allen key bolt, still can't get the loading bolt off the loading bolt assembly,is it simply just a case of applying more heat to the loading bold then it will simply pull off,i don't want to force it off causing any damage, all i intend to do is replace the loading bolt with a black rowan engineering bolt.

Yes, keep it hot whilst you pull the handle off. I'd advise you to drop the stock off before doing the job - the small charred/darkened spot on my stock demonstrates that I overlooked this precaution... The Loctite used on factory assembly softens with heat, but rehardens as it cools , so unless you clean it out it will give the new handle a little grip, certainly enough to stop it moving once the screw is back in. I too preferred a black Rowan handle to the original satin ally one.

Rob.
