Hi Tapps
It is 'horses for courses' and there is no single right answer I am afraid. A basic padded case with that typical bump at the handle end to take a scoped rifle can start at around £10 online. If you are not planning to cart it around a lot and want something cheap and cheerful, that is your answer.

You can then start going up the scale to 2 or 3 times that for better specification.

Or if you are really keen, then 20 or 30 times that amount and buy a custom leather jobby with real fleece lining for around £300.
If you are fitting a bipod or hamster etc. to the rifle, you will find that you need an extra deep one like this -

Also, you may want to think about a hard case if all you are doing is transporting it in the car from home right into a field or club. If you are not going to carry the rifle around in the slip case, a hard case offers better protection in the boot or foot well of the car. Flambeau and Plano are good names at decent prices.

Just make sure you dont order a 'gun case' i.e. a shotgun case which is identifiable by the lack of the bump for the scope.

Hello tapps
I have the s510xs carbine with Hawke airmax 30 sf compact fitted and bought the AA rifle slip ( a little on the expensive side) but fits like a glove. Well made with plenty of padding and well balanced when carrying with the centre grip.

Hi taps
Yes that’s the one £47.99, as I said really good bag for your rifle.

Just be aware the XS "fits like a glove".
I think the AA bags are too long for my S400 Classic with AA moderator, let alone a carbine.
Re: air arms s410 carbine rifle slip
Received today, a real bargain. Only £19.95 plus £5.00 postage. Longer than my S400 carbine but that's ok, if it bothers me I will pack the top couple of inches with tissue paper.

I hate to tell you fellas; but those are the ones that Air Arms rejected due to quality control issues . they should have been destroyed as " not up to Air Arms standard " but they somehow managed to get onto the market.mal60 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 11:54 amReceived today, a real bargain. if they fail in anyway , which I hope they don't , complain to where you bought them from not Air Arms .
good luck with your purchases anyway
