i've had several .177 air arms s410's in the past,i now have 2 hw100 k's in .22,i'm interested in getting a lighter weight .177,i've been online looking & like the look of the AIRARMS S510 REGULATED TDR WALNUT in .177,do you consider this to be a good hunting rifle, rabbit's 30/40 yards and the odd closer range rat, would you go for the regulated or the unregulated version.

I have just bought the S510R TDR in black. it is still an S510 but with a take down stock and more than capable of taking rabbits and rats ect.
I bought mine for the same reason, I need a lighter rifle and had owned an S410 TDR in .22 and an HFT500 in the past so bought the S510 TDR as a compromise between the two and am very happy with it.

Mine is .177 bought new from The Airgun Centre in Essex, the basic rifle was £1062, plus a scope, 7ltr air bottle, they put in pellets, targets and holder and delivered the lot to my home inc air in the rifle and full air bottle, and a voucher for £150 to spend once they open again.
.
Brilliant service and highly recommended.
