Striker rod

I need to purchase a firing valve body for my aa S410 along with the striker rod.how is the striker rod fitted?

It just screws into the firing valve body, sometimes loctited

I believe the striker rod/rail is always Loctited in. There is a little detail amongst the Lanes Regulators' technical blurb showing how the rod needs to be heated near the junction with the valve body until a little smoke indicates that the Loctite has burnt off. Then use a Mole grip to unscrew it. It might mark the rod, but if you're replacing it that doesn't matter.
