It looks like the o’ring Isn’t seating onto the carrier and is sitting too proud.
Take the o’ring off and then try it.

Ok Guys,

Thanks for your assistance on this one, it was the o-ring in the new mag, as suggested I removed the o-ring, tested and it was perfect, so I stripped and reassembled as per the Air Arms youtube video ie a little dub of gun oil on the o-ring pre-assembly and hey oh it's now functioning 100% spot on.
