Re: Regulator
I have a 510 which outshoots my abilities, if your getting those shots and that fps variation I would leave well alone. I have and had s200, the first one i fitted a reg too I didn't notice any difference, so the second one I left alone and it shoots perfectly, i use it for lsr competition and have won a few trophies with it as standard.

Re: Regulator
if its not broken don't fix it is my advice .
Re: Regulator
Have a look at Altaros. Easy to fit, and fully reversible. You won't get any more shots from 190-100 bar but you will get same low fps variation from 190bar.
Re: Regulator
So i will get say around 60 to 80 regd shots?
Any problems leaks etc. With the altaros?
And can you adjust the reg pressure?

Re: Regulator
As Tony said, they are a relatively easy fit (no need to drill cylinder) I hone the cylinder before fitting, as air can leak past the seal otherwise, that's the external seal on the reg body, if you want to alter the reg pressure after fitting, you can do it with a long screwdriver after removing fill valve. Tony will know more about the reg'd shot count. Hope that helps. Rog
Re: Regulator
If you set the Altaros reg to 120 bar and the power to 11.2ft lb with 8.44gr you will get 70 shots. At 120 bar set point you won't get either a spike or drop off when it comes off reg so you can get up to 80 before you'll notice, depending on the range you are shooting.
Re: Regulator
I think im going to buy one, thanks , btw was that with ventrui screw fully open? I trying to get an ideal situation were i can have ventrui screw fully open and the pressure at its lowest setting on the reg, so 120 setting with or without venturi screw open?
