Dont try to visit them though. Cordoned off. Apparently the police have found a gun factory there.
The incident room portaloos have also been stolen overnight. The police have nothing to go on.

Yes it does need removing. There's a little pin that needs to swap sides inside the striker housing. Striker housing needs separating from the valve housing so polish the striker rail while in there.
Probably need to take out the anti tamper screw covers under the action.
Standard handle just needs taking apart and assembling as left handed. Little cook's torch on the handle if its loctited on.

Hello mate,
yeah read your reply earlier on and followed your instructions..put the action in a soft jawd vicee and drilled the anti tamper blanks on the pillar drill with a 5mm bit..All stripped down now, going to get a new seal kit and bolt lever
Again thanks very much

I'd be interested in the reply re date of manufacture. It seems that the first two digits of the serial number are the year, but I'm not sure whether they use a month or week designation and where it occurs in the serial. Just one or two confirmed by the factory should unlock the code!

Rob.

I can't make any chronological sense of my serial numbers.

You say it seems first two digits are year but has AA told you this? I have confirmed with AA the month and year of manufacture of two rifles and both have first two digits out of synch with year by 1. So unless AA gave me wrong year twice :o , and my "new" gun had sat at John Rothery for 17months  , your first two numbers being the year will be coincidental. The last two digits of my S400 could be week number - also a coincidence I think, otherwise we had a very long year (60 weeks :? ) when my S510 was made!
