.22 POLYMAG SHORTS

Hi all im new to the forum but iv been shooting for a while now. I just thought i would give you my findings on polymags.

Well.....firstly the power and shock they have when hitting a target is very good.

But the problem is hitting them consistantly. I have a s410f superlite in hunter green. I tried some polymags and the accuracy at 30 yards was just ok...a few flyers out of about ten. At 40 yards the same really. But at 45 plus they were not good. Much too wide of a spead for hunting properly. Even at 30 i wouldnt really use them for hunting. I then switched to air arms field 5.52 .22 and hit 5 shots at 55yards outdoors and they could be covered with a 20p.

Just my thoughts.

You would get a better results by throwing the whole tin at the target

Welcome to the AAOC
Those are the findings I would expect.
Stick to the basic diabalo and you won’t go wrong. Unless your gun don’t like that particulate size

Thanks for the welcome chaps.

I think that tin will go at the back of the cupboard gor a long time. Im looking for a accurate but hard hitting.22 pellet for hunting. Has anyone tried the AA hunters?

Cheers!

Try the Bisley Mags, quite heavy 21gn, but accurate for short range hunting, and they do hit hard. Rog
