The plan for my blog next year includes doing 'kit checks' at HFT events to show beginners what variety of guns are used. I will hopefully cover everything from budget springers to full on target specials.

Part 1 was a bit of a test, and I did it on my TX200 which is my main HFT gun, link below!

Thank you. Always appreciate feedback, especially if its good
I've got a few more air arms posts coming next year.
An HFT kit check for my girlfriends S400 superlight, and a full strip down report of my Mk1 TX200. I'll post on here when I finish them

I am not into HFT but what an interesting read. Especlially liked the set up descriptions. How did you notice the the turret mount catching.

I could see the turret's where close to the peg, but thought it would be OK. When I was having the accuracy issues I took another shot, got all lined up in my HFT prone position, then pulled my head back and took the shot. Then I saw the turret hit the peg during recoil. I'm going to see if I can get a low profile mount. Either off another scope, or get one made up.

The sidewinder has just gone on my prosport. This Sunday is the misfits hft Christmas shoot and I'm going to try and do most of it standing, so no issues with turrets on pegs!

Standing :o
I would love to see a competition where you could use anything that you wanted just to get on point. The loss of points will always be human error

Rules for the Christmas shoot are:
4 points for standing
3 points kneeling
2 points prone
1 point for a plate in any position

My plan is go prone for 40 and 45 yard shots
Kneel for the small 15mm kills
Stand everything else.

Prosport has been set to just under 9 ft-lb with the big sidewinder on top.

I like your idea. You could have 30 targets behind the firing line but no pegs and you shoot them however you can (safely of course)
