Best way to Clear the Silver parts of an FTP900

Just managed to find a well priced 2nd had FTP900. Previous owner used it for HFT and it needs a little clear up to get her looking her best again

Was wondering of any one has any advice re best way to clean the metal butt hook and other silver finish metal parts, its not rust, just muck and grime built up over time

Cheap ultrasonic cleaner. About £40 and use a citric acid.
Don't forget to rinse well.
