Hi Glen, welcome to the forum.
Are you based in the United Kingdom?.
I'm not a fan of fitting regulators to the S4/5*0 range of hardware. If you fit it, it is economically viable and you might break even on the resale price when you sell off your kit.
Paying someone will leave you at a loss when selling. The increase in shot count is not in my opinion worth while.
If your rifle is pre anti tamper, carrying out a service and tuning is pretty straightforward and most people would be capable of carrying out the work themselves.
A few things to think about.
Once again , welcome.

I have done a good clean and still no change.
The trigger click is to loud and the bolt action is not smooth and also i would like it a bit quieter.
This has only happened when it went away for a full service, i did not notice it as i put it away for the winter. now its out i checked it over took it out and did not feel right and the sound was a bit louder then it used to be. so i gave it a good clean and its still the same.
so i want to send it away to a someone that knows what they are doing plus a few upgrades ie regulator or a part smooth barrle and a new silencer.
im looking to spend £300

Hi Phil
I know it's getting close to the second hand value but I like this rifle and don't mind spending a bit on it to make it a bit better.
I can see your from Truro and I'm from Callington Cornwall do you who can do this to a very good standard??

Well my AA s510 gain a lot in even shot counts and is all around a much better air gun with a Robert Lane reg installed
Take a look at 50 shot FPS string.
Best money I have ever spent

And here is how it shoots now
