Silencer alignment fix ?

Just acquired an 18 month old rifle at a very silly low price.
There is a possibility that the owner thought it was duff.
First groups were like wild womans sh**e.
By a proscess of elimination I found the silencer was clipping.
Tried it on another rifle , same story.
Looks like a HW but cant find any marking.
Anyway seems a shame to bin it and I would not pass it on while it's clipping.
If I had the face turned to remove a high spot would this work or is it likely to be the whole thread which is duff?

1. The face of the silencer where it contacts the barrel.
2. HW100 KT.

how much is it clipping
if its a small amount could you increase the exit hole size slightly.

Actually thats a good call. The clipping is vague to the eye but can be seen with a magnifying glass.
Is the exit diameter relevant to the functionality ?

I seem to recall that weihrauch moderators are calibre specific, so if it's a .22 and the mod is .177 it should still exit but won't be accurate. But as Eboswan says if it's the right calibre, just put a drill through it, won't be any noisier. Rog

Ta. Just bored it out with a 7.5 bit. Sounds OK , will test in the morning.
Rifle was a pain to get shooting right as I also encountered an extremely dirty barrel and the hammer / trigger unit full of heavy grease.
All easy fixes but not what you would expect from a relatively expensive rifle.
Glad to say it is now a tack driver.

Yes, they are rather nice guns, three guys who come to my club have them, had a go with one, very accurate, but pricy even second hand, I might have to start saving again, Rog
