I took my Ultimate Sporter and HFT 500 to a R.F.D. mate who has a very reliable chrono, just to check they were running at the speed I wanted.
The Ultimate Sporter, once power had been set, showed a 10fps variation over a 10 shot, mag fed string. Not too shabby I thought.
The HFT 500, once power had been set, showed a 3fps variation over a 10 shot string. Simply stunning for an un-regulated rifle!
I'm really looking forward to getting back out on my permissions and, hopefully, back to the HFT firing line very soon.
Mike.

Re: Stunned!
That will get your writing juices going Mick. 7% deviation istnt a lot (in shot to shot) out in the field really. I wonder if its the same results with another set of identical rifles.
