How much would the hft500 action go for in as new condition? Less than 200 pellets fired.

They do seem rather expensive, John Knibbs does them for £395, and I have been offered them even cheaper than that, but an action on its own probably only worth about £200 to £300 in the end it's only an S510 in a laminate adj stock IMO . Rog

"... in the end it's only an S510 in a laminate adj stock IMO...."
Well yes, Rog, an S510 with a totally different barrel (unshrouded, 2mm bigger diameter, 100mm longer, fully floating), a fitted air stripper, 60% bigger air cylinder, single shot action and substantially more adjustable trigger without the useless saftey catch, not to mention a load of minor and cosmetic stuff.
You may not like it, and you may think its horribly over priced, but although its in the same family, its
definitely not the same gun......

I knew all of this as I have already had one to bits, the only real difference is the barrel, the rest of it is pretty much S 400. Lot of money for a barrel and cosmetics IMO. Rog
