I've got varifocals but I just push them down my nose and look over the top.

I take my glasses off completely. Having said that,my eyes have got worse and I have ordered bifocals.

I've never really cracked this one. I certainly can't shoot properly with my varifocals, especially as I use the 'blurometer' for distance estimation. Sometimes I shoot with distance-only glasses and sometimes I take my glasses off using a neck cord so I don't lose them or tread on them (done both

). With the distance glasses I get the usual problems of rain and grease on the lenses plus having to fiddle with them to write down scores etc. Shooting without glasses - taking them off at the last moment - gives me problems judging the wind (can't see the trees, let alone the grass!), plus I find messing around putting my glasses on and off a real PITA. And I've tried contacts, but my eyes can't tolerate even the most modern, softest lenses.
At the moment I'm using distance glasses, but perhaps I should just do without glasses at all and rely on someone to tell me where the targets are. They'd never point me to the wrong ones, would they

Rifle with peep sight I wear half moon readers so I can find the pellets and look over the top. I never found scopes a problem either. if you can see the black circle or the bunnys head you dont need to count the whiskers.
If I needed strong correction I have Knobloch shooting frames which allow for height and angle. Problem is finding an optician who understands shooting and can dispense the correct single vision lens

I have variofocals and I just use them, never have taken them off. Ask the buns, pigeons and squiggers their opinion.

I never wear my glasses when I'm shooting - I prefer to just use the scope adjustment and magnification.

Usually wear varifocals
but when sighting using a scope I take them off and adjust the dioptre setting until I have a clear view.

I used to have problems with them but now just shoot with them on. Tried looking over top, taking them off (dangerous for me cos I'd lose them) and in the end just live with them. I am of course the most accurate shot anyway - or perhaps not!!!!!!!!!!!
