Group now opened up a bit but still ok under the blustery conditions.
Now on to my preferred pellets the JSB Heavy:-

Still not bad but a bit strung out horizontally. Pellet drop below point of aim though not as much as I thought it would be as it is a 10.3 grain jobbie.
At this point there should be a picture of the group formed by the 13.4 grain JSB Monster that my pal had brought. They formed a 'group' which was about an inch and a half below the aim point and thus not on the actual target. Also the group was about 2" across
This last group is a second go with the Kaiser pellets but this time with my S410 Carbine. The following group is a full ten shot mags worth:-

Again I was impressed and relieved that my previous 5 shot group was perhaps not a fluke. They seem to cheat wind very well. Will do a bit more with these I think.
With the exception of the Monsters and the Hobbies which were included for comedy value I was pleased how well the rifles grouped with the rest of the selection I had available. I was expecting more vertical shift in point of aim but even the Heavies were only slightly low and the LRGs slightly high. My pal was mirroring my tests with his own S400 (My old one that I should never have sold

) and his rifle pretty much matched my own results. All in all a useful session and an excuse to rattle off a few hundred shots and also a chance for me to give the newly regulated S410 a bit of a workout. The far higher shotcount (130ish in a 12fps band) made trips back to the car far less frequent and it was nice not to have to worry about keeping the rifle in a sweet spot for this type of testing. Shoots ok as well
Has anyone else used the Kaiser pellets and how have you found them? I only bought them as the shop had run out of AADFs and have not heard any reports of how they perform. Now I need to do more testing as they could be my new go to all rounder pellet
Thanks for reading if you have gotten this far.
