just read on another channel that the hosts of the aaocs 2014 meet have just put the fire out .... Looks like some idiots torched the place .... Shame , lovely place ... With a nice covered area

Weren't they being evicted? I understood that there was a dispute between 2 family members and one of the joint owners wanted to sell the land.

The land sold for a lot more than was expected. The new landowner came to an agreement with the club to continue subject to a new contract.

Yeah I heard it was all resolved and they got to stay ..... Just to have a low life torch it .....

Lovely ground , and home to a few very good FT shooters , hope they get to rebuild out of the ashes

Sometimes it's very difficult to understand someones thought processes or for that matter intelligence. Nothing whatsoever to gain and a load of work and cost for the club members.

The latest on the club, asked a member today about a third was burned has the wind was in their favour, two middle aged men was walking from the crime?
Some members want to stay but the rest want to move out.the latest is they are in talks and may be moving to pontypridd golf club. If I ere more information I'll post it on ere.

Crying shame ... I will have fond memories of cooking breakfast for the AAOC Meet with a couple of other members in their well equipped camp kitchen :(
