If you were buying just one of the above in .177 which one would you buy and why? Both seem to be covering same part of market to a degree

A s200 obviously! Na I like the s200 because it fits me better than the 400, I'd say go to your local rfd and have a play with both see what suits you better.

Try both, put in your location and you might find a few members close by who can help.

S200 for -
Compact size and lower weight
Beefy and superior barrel
Looks ! Weird but wonderful

I have both but prefer this for hunting

I am in love with the S200 22 and JSB Express at the moment having just head shot 2 dozen squirrels , several corvids and pigeon out to 45 yards from a hide situation without a miss this week.
For a less controlled situation ,where quicker range calculations and shooting is required, such as bunny busting, I prefer the S410 in 177.
I love both rifles and I would be hard pushed to let one go.
If I was just going to own 1 PCP I suggest the S200 177 would be a good choice.
