his phone number is on the box pic on face book, the kit as spring guides and top hat and power washers, make sure you tell him your exact model to get the guides tight,

a short kit ( short stroke ) is when you extend the end of your piston with a longer seal end, this takes up more of the space in the chamber leaving less air to compress and push out, but by putting a stronger or more pre load on the spring to hit the air harder and faster which will give you a shorter stroke but at the same power fpe,
most do it on .22 as the 1.77 is a harsher stroke any way,

ive never bothered with that sort of thing my self , ive always go for smoothness of firing and accuracy .

i have got a tx200 mk2 and that model was a shorter stroke unlike the mk3 which is a longer stroke now a days,

Now Eddie above has given a definative description & I aint gonna argue, but since you asked, it was mentioned before (on here) that the longer stroke of the newer rifles is to accomodate higher powers ergo the overseas market, the short stroke actually suits our power limit!
if this is true (help please members!) that`d be another reason to want to change/shorten the stroke. juss sayin like!

I may try short stroking the PS this year, an adapter to take an HW seal knocks off about 10 mm apparently and makes a reasonable difference so worth trying. I'll be talking to TbT (Nick) about it, I'll keep you posted!
