Please will someone help me

Sun May 08, 2016 9:45 am

I have recently bought a TX200 rifle.

After about 100 pellets I chrono'd it.

After collapsing 2 coils flattening and polishing it's now doing 10.43 fpe with 7.5 gr Defiants. All my other pellets reduce the power considerably.

Yesterday I inserted a 2.60mm thick pre-load washer onto the spring guide but the rifle will not cock. When I take the trigger unit out of the rifle it works fine (as does the safety) If I remove the washer it works OK. But, if I insert the washer, it wont work.

The O/D of the pre-load washer is roughly that of the spring.

What have I overlooked and what should I do?

Many sincere thanks in advance for a solution from you!

It sounds like it was originally a dead on fit when the spring was compressed. Adding the press load washer has made the overall length too much. Is it a standard spring?.

Hi BBF

Firstly many thanks!

The spring is standard but I now know what the problem is. The non AA preload washer will not allow the compression tube to go fully back!!!

I have put a washer into compression tube for the time being.
