I want to adjust the trigger on my TX200 and .

How does one latch the trigger unit whilst outside of the rifle?

It is designed to latch onto the piston when installed in the rifle. Adjustments have to be made and then tested against the piston load. You could be entering dangerous territory if you get it wrong.
