Fitting an Altaros Regulator to an S400/S410/S510

If anyone is thinking of installing a regulator to their S400/S410/S510 Series rifle, without drilling holes in their air tube, Altaros have a good installation video, which looks very straight forward. Once installed you would probably have to fine tune it, either by altering the pressure on the regulator, or with the hammer spring tension etc, to get the figures you want to acheive.

I have done this with my S200, which is a cheap way of improving the shot string and shot count from as little as £70 to £120 if you also want to add a quick fill manometer.

I fitted one to my S410 TDR and it was fine from the first shot. Good little regs and good service.

Hi Brooksy, what measurement did you settle on for the firing valve pot. Rog

I didn't, it just screws in onto a plastic washer. The regulator negates the need to set a measured distance. The adjustment, if needed is by a screw in the end of the reg.

I take it that's the early version, they have a new one out now with no plastic washer, thanks anyway. Rog
