Hi gus
Been home alone today doing the rounds on various airgun forums and to be honest it never ceases to amaze me how many air gunners dont own a chronograph!
Prepared to spend a small fortune on a rifle and not prepared to spend £50-£100 on a chrono!
Rant over.
Regards
Lee

Each rifle sold should have a chrono as a mandatory bit of kit linked in with the sale IMHO!

Chronographs are dastardly things when using a spring gun. Really gets in my head when I get the odd reading when shooting a string. I know in the U.K. it's pretty much mandatory, but they really annoy me. I have the Oehler P35 and it cost me a bit over $200 many years ago. I only use it to diagnose suspected problems these days.

Or at the
very least, it ought to be incumbent upon the RFD to make sure that buyers are aware of the law regarding muzzle energy,
and the possible consequences of non-compliance.
I've bought 3 rifles in the last 7 years, and not the slightest mention of the law. Or, maybe the RFD should give each purchaser a copy of the Home Office or BASC leaflet regarding airgun ownership.
