Hi there
My name is can you guess yes Pete I am new to the air rifle scene, I have previously owned a HW80 springer in my teens but I have just purchased 2nd hand a S410 Pcp and love it. My only issue is the power at the present it is firing at 9.5ftps and I want to up it to just below 12ftps. I have be told that there is a pressures grubscrew that alters the pressure, has anyone got any ideas or pictures as I've been told that with a cronograph this is a easy operation.
Thanks.

Set it closer too 11ftp the closer you set it too 12 the easier it is too run over 12 and making it illegal
What pellets are you using at the moment.

Hi
Like eboswan states, set your rifle to 11fpe with aa diablo pellets, will give you a nice safe cushion to avoiding going into fac range!also buy a chronograph.

To be honest I would be inclined to suggest sitting back and considering whether you need to adjust the power of your rifle, yes 9.5ft/lbs is a tad low (it could also be due to chrono inaccuracies, poor light, low batteries etc) but if it's accurate and consistent then why mess about and risk upsetting something else (or invalidating any warranty you may have). My R10 has never got above 10ft/lb with any pellet and the bisley lrg's that it seems to favour sit around the 9.5 level but it's accurate and carries enough power to easily and cleanly take bunnies out to 45 yards plus. Power isn't everything, especially in the world of air rifles

The first principle is that you must not fool yourself and you are the easiest person to fool

Hi,
Best advice is not to test it on a full 190 bar fill. Test it at say 130 bar (should be at its most efficient there) with a heavy pellet such as JSB Heavies/Monsters/Daystate Heavies if you can beg/steal/borrow some. Bet you find it's more than 9.5 ft.lbs then. Adjust then if necessary.
