Thanks for the kind offer Paul but it's something I'd really like to do myself as it looks an easy fix but just need some pointers . If only I had taken more notice of what davyt63 was showing me when he kindly serviced it for me over the Christmas holiday.lol
Paul if you could give me a few pointers that would be smashing pal either on here or pm (if I'm allowed them yet)
.
I don't know what happened but I thought I put my location up when I reregistered , I'm in Wantage , Oxfordshire

All you need is a 2.5mm allen key. Place rifle on table cocking lever facing up. Undo the 3 allen bolts that hold the indexing post. You should now have 3 components, the black housing, the indexing post and a stainless rod. Note the position opf the post and rod when you take it apart. Take post out and re assemble in reverse. You will see on the side of the indexing post there is a little pin/nipple, make sure that it locates in the channel on the silver coloured rod or it wont cock. It's quite easy to, and probs give me a shout

Many thanks for that Paul I'll try and sort it tomorrow when I can find the indexing post thingy that I bought off Julian just before Christmas (just in case ) as it turns out a good buy if I can find the thing
.Any problems I'll take you up on the offer and drop you a line .
Davyt63 , your secretary must give good b***jobs as she's hopeless at returning txts , I'd sack her myself
See ya soon buddy .

Just an update -
after not being able to find indexing post I bought at Christmas I had to buy another which arrived Monday. No one in to sign so I picked it up yesterday morning and fitted last night . It took longer to take the three allen bolts out tan it did to do the job , very simple. Thanks to Paul for the info .
